Being a fierce female yidam, Sarvabuddhadakini is often depicted as ‘covered’ with only a necklace of skulls, very befitting a goddess under whose guidance the Eight Graveyard Meditations are practiced.

In the Sadhanamala, a sacred text, she is said to be a transformation and/or emanation of Vajrayogini; and she is described there almost exactly like the goddess Chinnamasta.

In this form, she has two attendant dakinis who are known as Vajra Vairocani and Vajra Varnani.
