The dates for this terton are uncertain (either 1231-59 or 1291-1315), yet he is regarded as an incarnation of the princess Pema Sal - which is also clearly indicated in his name. He is mainly known for having revealed the Khandro Nyingtig, the cycle of orally transmitted teachings Padmasambhava had entrusted to both Pema Sal and Yeshe Tsogyal. When Ledrel Tsal died, his immediate reincarnation was Longchenpa.
