Parvati

The goddess Parvati is regarded as a personification or "daughter" of the Himalayas. She also represents the Shakti in one of her many manifestations as partner and lover of the god Shiva.

A number of Tantras and other sacred texts, for example the Nila Tantra and the Gheranda Samhita, are written in the form of dialogues between Parvati and Shiva.

An aspect of Parvati is known as Adrija.
