Tib., nGor-pa
One of the offshoots of the Sakyapa school of Tibetan Vajrayana.
The school was founded by Kun-dga' bZang-po (1382-1444) and its first monastery
(Ngor Evam Chos-ldan) was built in 1429.

Tib., zhva-lu-pa
The second sub-group of the Sakyapa school, founded by the encyclopedist Bu-ston (1290-1364) and named after the Zhva-lu monastery, built in 1040 CE. The sometimes used name Bupa remembers its founder; meaning teachings of Bu-ston.
