Navadurgas
Skt., Nine DurgasThese nine forms (Skt., nava, "nine") of Durga represent her manifestations as fertility-deity and each of them is seen as the ruler/spirit of a certain edible plant (rice, barley, pomegranate etc).
In Bengal, people hold a special annual festival in honor of Durga and the Navadurgas, which is called Navapatrika or Festival of the Nine Plants.- Brahmani (or Brahmi), a Yogini of the Kalika Purana and a Dakini (in the Bardo Thödol); also a Saptamatrika
